Minimum charter is five nights for Raja Ampat and four nights for Komodo. A ten-night minimum applies on peak season dates. Week-long charters are most popular for comprehensive exploration. Returning guests often book ten to fourteen nights to explore beyond the iconic highlights.

Yes. The seven-cabin layout works for multi-generational groups, and the full-beam master suite plus six double cabins below give families and friends private space alongside shared space. The crew adapts activities for all ages, from shallow snorkeling and beach excursions for younger guests to dive certification courses for older children. Two of the lower-deck cabins can be configured for family use.

The charter rate includes the crew of eighteen, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, fuel for standard itineraries, diving and water sports equipment, national park permits and dive guides, standard port fees, and Starlink WiFi. Premium wines and spirits, special provisions, crew gratuity (10 to 15% customary), and flights are additional.

Peak season dates and school holiday periods typically book twelve to eighteen months in advance. Standard high-season availability requires six to nine months lead time. Note that the Christmas and New Year period is not available for charter; the owner family uses these dates each year.

Three things stand out. First, classification: Dunia Baru is the only BKI-classified wooden yacht operating in Indonesian waters, the equivalent of Lloyd's Register for steel ships. Second, build quality: seven years to construct, ironwood hull handcrafted by master Konjo boat builders in Kalimantan, naval architecture by Michael Kasten of Kasten Marine Design. Third, the open family-style galley with teppanyaki grill is a feature unique among yachts in this class, designed by the original owner to bring guests and crew together over meals.

Many guests never dive at all. Snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing the onboard Sunfish dinghy, the FunAir water slide, village visits, hiking, and beach picnics fill days easily. The crew tailors each day around what guests actually want to do.

Dunia Baru carries Starlink satellite internet on board, providing reliable connectivity across all cruising regions. Speeds support video calls, email, and streaming. Many guests choose to disconnect, but the option is there.

The captain monitors conditions continuously and adjusts routes to keep guests safe and comfortable. Indonesia's sheltered anchorage network and seasonal positioning mean significant disruptions are rare. Alternative anchorages and activities are always available.
