The Yacht

Purpose-built for reflection, revelation, and the quieter corners of Indonesia

The Oracle arrived in 2019 with a specific brief: translate the Blue Karma Secrets philosophy onto water. That philosophy, which had already shaped some of Bali's most considered private escapes, holds that a place can liberate as much as it shelters. The 36-meter phinisi that emerged is small by charter standards, intentional by design, and entirely clear about the kind of journey it enables.

Her hull is handcrafted ironwood, shaped by Indonesian artisans who have worked this material for generations. At 8 meters beam she carries herself with authority in open water but drafts only 3 meters, which puts anchorages inside reef systems and shallow bays within reach. Cruising at 9 knots, she covers passage distances that keep daily schedules flexible rather than rushed.

What separates The Oracle from comparable phinisi is her cabin configuration. Two full master suites occupy the main and top decks, each with its own outdoor terrace opening directly onto the Indonesian archipelago. No corridor, no shared anteroom: just a sliding door and the sea. A third cabin below deck provides flexibility for families or a third couple. All three rooms carry king beds fitted with latex mattresses that can be separated into twins on request.

The Blue Karma connection runs deeper than ownership. It informs service: the 8 crew includes two masseuses, and each guest receives one treatment per day as standard. It informs the galley, where the private chef works fresh provisions into Indonesian and international menus rather than defaulting to a fixed rotation. It informs the pace, which is deliberately unhurried.

Her tender and water sports complement handles the rest. A 6.2-meter RIB delivers guests to dive sites, remote beaches, and village moorings with equal ease. Sea kayaks and SUPs provide quieter access where the tender would feel intrusive. For certified divers, full equipment for six is aboard, including tanks for up to 12 dives.

The Experience

A Day Aboard The Oracle

Mornings begin with coffee on a terrace, the teak still cool from night air, the light coming flat across the water before the heat builds. The crew has already been up for two hours: the chef is working with whatever came off the market tender at dawn, and the dive team has checked conditions at the site the captain marked last evening. By the time guests are ready, the 6.2-meter RIB is lowered and waiting. With only six guests aboard, there is no queue, no roster, no negotiation over who dives first.

Afternoons unfold at whatever pace guests set. A massage on the top deck while the yacht moves under motor to the next anchorage. A SUP across a glassy bay. A walk to the nearest village with the expedition leader, who speaks three regional dialects and knows which family makes the best palm sugar. Evenings gather everyone at the aft table as the chef describes what he's made: Indonesian fish curry alongside grilled market vegetables, a coconut sorbet that shouldn't work but does. The 1:1.3 guest-to-crew ratio means the service is present without hovering, attentive without theater.

Technical Specifications

Blue Karma Secrets

The Oracle is part of the Blue Karma Secrets portfolio, whose private villas and resorts across Bali are known for restoring equilibrium rather than providing spectacle. That same founding principle governs the yacht: six guests, eight crew, and a daily massage for each person aboard are not additions to the service model. They are the service model.

Accommodation

Three Private Sanctuaries

The two upper-deck suites are an unusual arrangement. Each occupies its own level, with floor-to-ceiling glass opening onto a private terrace that looks outward, not down onto a shared deck. The effect is complete privacy while remaining part of the vessel. King beds sit on natural fiber matting; the latex mattresses compress to whatever firmness each guest prefers. Bathrooms are finished in natural stone with rain showers and locally sourced toiletries.

The below-deck cabin provides the same king-or-twin flexibility, with a private en-suite and natural light via porthole. For three couples, the arrangement works symmetrically: each pair holds their own level. For two couples with children, the lower cabin converts cleanly into twin beds. All linens are changed daily. Turndown includes a card from the chef describing the following morning's breakfast options.

The only sound at this anchorage, three hours from the nearest town, is the tender line tapping the hull as the tide changes.
