The Journey

From Amankila's Private Beach to Amanwana's Jungle Camp

Drive up Bali's quiet eastern coast to spend a night at Amankila, set into the hillside above the Lombok Strait. The next morning, tenders arrive at the private beach to board the yacht. From there, the voyage takes you south through the twelve islands of Gili Gede for snorkeling and a wellness day on deck, then north to Moyo Island and the tented camp of Amanwana.

The itinerary suits an active, nature-loving group looking for a short and concentrated taste of Bali's immediate surroundings. It combines two of Indonesia's most distinctive Aman properties with a private yacht charter, a jungle waterfall, and a seaplane flight home over two volcanoes. Short in duration, dense in quality.

Two Aman resorts, two yacht days, one seaplane, and you cover Bali, Moyo, and Lombok in four nights. We coordinate the transfers so the yacht and the resorts hand off cleanly.

Your Charter Team

Guided by Those Who Know These Waters

This trip moves between two Aman resorts and the yacht that connects them, and the pleasure of it is that nothing needs arranging once you start. We handle the timing with both resorts and the seaplane so the days simply unfold. Tell us how your group likes to split its time, more at anchor or more ashore, and we will set the rhythm before you arrive.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this itinerary require Amandira specifically?

Amandira is the natural vessel for this voyage as she operates between Amankila and Amanwana and provides Aman's signature service afloat. However, other phinisi yachts in our fleet can be arranged for guests who prefer a different vessel. We will match the right yacht to your group and budget.

Is the seaplane included in the charter?

The seaplane return from Amanwana to Bali is arranged separately through Amanwana. We handle the coordination as part of the overall itinerary planning. The flight takes approximately one hour and lands at Bali's international airport, with onward connections by noon.

Can the itinerary be extended?

Absolutely. The 4-night voyage can be extended to include more time in the Gili Gede twelve islands, additional nights at Amanwana, or a longer passage taking in Sumbawa's reefs en route. Let us know how much time you have and we will draft the right shape for your group.

Is this suitable for families with children?

The Mata Jitu waterfall jeep ride, beach snorkeling, and the seaplane flight make this a genuinely memorable trip for older children and teenagers. The pace is gentle and the activities are varied. Most yachts welcome families with children aged 6 and above; Amandira is particularly well set up for family charters.
