The crew adapts activities for all ages. The shallow draft means Sanya can anchor close to beaches, making the water accessible for swimming without needing the tender for every excursion. The cruise director can tailor water activities to younger guests.

The charter rate includes the crew of eleven, all meals (three courses daily plus snacks), beers, soft drinks, fresh juices, coffee and teas, marine park and harbor fees, snorkeling and scuba equipment, one introductory dive per non-certified guest, shore excursions, spa treatments by the on-board therapist, and airport land transfers. Wine, spirits, champagne, dive courses, crew gratuities, and flights are additional.

The eleven-to-five crew-to-guest ratio is the number that matters. Most yachts at comparable pricing carry four to six crew for the same number of guests. Eleven crew for five people means every service interaction is anticipatory rather than reactive. Combined with a 2.5-meter draft that opens anchorages unavailable to larger vessels, Sanya delivers access and attention that the category does not typically offer.

Many Sanya guests never dive. Snorkeling in Raja Ampat and Komodo delivers reef encounters at a standard that would be exceptional anywhere else in the world. Kayaks and paddleboards explore mangrove channels and lagoons inaccessible by tender. Shore excursions to villages, markets, and hiking trails fill days easily. The crew tailors each day around what guests actually want to do, not around a preset dive schedule.

Sanya carries satellite WiFi providing reliable signal for email, messaging, and basic browsing in most anchorages. Signal quality varies by location, and some of the most remote anchorages have limited or no connectivity. Many guests find this a welcome feature rather than a limitation. The crew will advise on connectivity expectations for specific itinerary legs.

Peak dates, particularly the Raja Ampat manta season from December through February, book nine to twelve months in advance. Komodo season from May through September typically has availability with four to six months lead time. Christmas and New Year weeks book first each year. The charter team maintains a waitlist for preferred dates and can advise on alternatives if primary dates are taken.
